Fay A. Gall March 28, 1931 - July 15, 2014 NORTH LIBERTY - Fay A. Gall, 83, of North Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 3:20 AM in her residence with her loving family at her bedside after an extended illness. She was born on March 28, 1931, in Mishawaka, IN, to Robert and Eva E. (Fredericks) Burroughs. On May 27, 1950, in Mishawaka, as the former Fay A. Burroughs, she married Arthur C. Gall, who survives. Fay retired from Wells Aluminum in North Liberty where she worked as a Secretary. Fay is survived by her loving husband, Arthur, one daughter, Brenda S. (Mike) Newcomer of Plymouth, IN, two grandchildren, Melissa (Phillip) Lynn of Jimtown, IN, and Rebecca (David) Connell of Elmhurst, IL, and four great-grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Burroughs. She will be dearly missed by her loving family, her church family, and numerous friends she made during her life journey. Mrs. Gall's hobbies included golfing, fishing, crocheting, playing music on the piano, and being with her family and grandkids. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church and also a Sunday School teacher there for many years. Fay also served as Treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 365, North Liberty, IN. She was a graduate of Niles High School Class of 1949, and graduated from College of Commerce, South Bend, IN. Visitation hours will take place today, July 17, from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home "Walkerton Chapel," located at 1216 Roosevelt Rd., Walkerton, IN 46574. Services will be held Friday, July 18, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, located at 24955 Riley Rd., North Liberty 46554, with Pastor Vicky Blough officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial is to follow at Westlawn Cemetery in North Liberty. The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, located at 24955 Riley Rd., North Liberty 46554; or Marshall County Hospice, located at 112 South Center Street, Suite C, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
