SOUTH BEND - Cora A. Sexton, 66, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in her home. She was born on August 15, 1946, in Illinois, to the late Leslie and Elma (Bishop) Langley. On September 13, 1963, as Cora A. Langley, she married John C. Sexton Jr., who survives, Along with her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Corine "Chris" (Jeff) Matuszak of South Bend; her three sons, Eric (Kathy) Sexton and John C. Sexton, III, both of South Bend and Kelly (Jennifer) Sexton of Walkerton, IN; 15 grandchildren, Tiffany, Chad, Andrea, Brandon, Stephanie, Tony, Chelsea, Tyler, Shawn, Shane, John, Justin, Ashley, Derek and Colten; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Materioli of TX; and a brother, Clifford (Claudia) Langley of Hamilton, AL. Cora loved her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother to her four children, and grandmother to all of her grandchildren. She loved to garden and work in her yard. She was a warm and happy person. There will be no services; cremation will take place. Kaniewski Funeral Homes, South Bend, is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart/Stroke Association.
