Rachelle graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1987, was on their swimming team as well as Christiana Creek Country Club's team, and even went to state. She was enrolled in a nursing program in the past and has substituted for Vanderburgh School Corporation in Evansville and Elkhart Community Schools. More recently she was to begin a career with American Airlines as a flight attendant. She was also fluent in Spanish and German. Rachelle enjoyed many things such as: rescue animals, music, movies, dancing, swimming and traveling. While traveling she lived in Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Africa, England and France. More than anything she was an amazing mother, being their #1 fan at sporting events, supporting and protecting them, and cherishing the time she spent with them. She lived and breathed for her children and will be missed by so many. Visitation for Rachelle will be from 12-2 pm Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 pm. There will not be a burial following the service. Memorial contributions may be given at Old National Bank through United Way and Teachers Credit Union through Martin's Supermarket. These donations will benefit Rachelle's boys, Michael and Joseph. Because of her love for animals, donations may also be made to the Elkhart County Humane Society or Vanderburgh Humane Society in Evansville, IN. For online condolences please visit www.wmzfh.com.
