Saylor 'Chuck' Snyder Jr. of Kennett Square Saylor "Chuck" Snyder Jr., 82, died Sunday March 9, 2014, at the Hospital Of The University Of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Mary Clark Snyder with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Saylor C. and the late Helen (Daw) Snyder. He served our country during the Korean war in the Army. He was a sales manager for DuPont Company for most of his career and retired at ICI America in 1997. He enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. Survivors include, in addition to his wife, two sons, Doug Snyder and David Snyder; one stepson, Thomas Steiner; two stepdaughters, Nancy Nolan and Alicia Alexander; one brother, James Snyder; and 13 grandchildren. You are invited to visit with Chuck's family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday March 22nd, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. A service celebrating his life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately. Contributions in his memory may be made to the 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
