Mary Hoffman Obituary

MARY JANE HOFFMAN (Nee Clary) of Voorhees, NJ, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 in the Jefferson University Hospital in Phila., PA. She was 88 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, she is the daughter of the late Honorable Thomas J. and Catherine Marie Clary and has resided in the Yardley Commons in Voorhees, NJ since last August moving there from Leisuretowne in Southampton, NJ. She grew up in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia and was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph's Academy in Chestnut Hill and then attended the College of New Rochelle from 1941 to 1944. She was the original teacher at the St. Lukes School in Stratford, NJ and then from 1966 to 1986 she was a U.S. Marshall with the U.S. Marshall's Service in Phila., PA. She was the wife of the late Roy A. Hoffman and the mother of the late Roy A. Hoffman and the late Mary Jane Smith. She is the Beloved Mother of Catherine M. Cheeseman and her husband Thomas B. Jr. of Sicklerville, NJ and the Loving Grandmother of Catherine Jones, Karen Jaramilla-Vasconez, Jeanne Yaeger, Gretchen Clark, Barbara Fallon, Thomas Hoffman, Jennifer McBride and Mary Harris and Great Grandmother of 19 from 26 yrs. to 7 months old. She is also survived by her Aunt, Sister Jane Clary of Yonkers, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes-Tabernacle Rd., Tabernacle, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will be held on Monday at the Parkview Cemetery in Medford, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME of Medford, NJ. (www.BradleyStow.com)
