Kippenhan, Frederick J. - Easton  
Frederick J. Freddie Kippenhan, 76, a resident of Easton for the past 36 years, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Katherine P. (Crawford) Kippenhan. Born in Boston on December 1, 1938, a son of the late Frederick V. and Margaret (Mullen) Kippenhan, he was raised in South Boston and was a graduate of South Boston High School. An honorable veteran of the US Army National Guard and the Army National Guard of Massachusetts he served as a Private First Class during peace time. Fred was employed as a long distance truck driver for Hartman Transportation of Boston for 40 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 25 of Charlestown. An active communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton, he was a a lifetime 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 238 in Easton where he served as Chancellor. A past Grand Knight and past Faithful Navigator, he was also an active 4th degree member of the Cardinal OConnell Assembly No. 394 of Brockton. A person of strong faith, Freddie believed in volunteering his time to many worthy causes. He was active in coordinating and fundraising the placement of the unborn child headstone at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Easton and was an active volunteer at My Brothers Keeper in Easton and the Brockton Veterans Administration. He was a committee member of the Boy Scout Troops # 71 when his children were younger and was a participating volunteer of the Bernice Claire Farm on Bay road in Easton which hosted inner city childrens outings. Fred is survived by two sons, James F. Kippenhan and his wife Jeanette of Norfolk, VA, and Joseph R. Kippenhan of Easton; five grandchildren, Andrew Kippenhan, Joseph Kippenhan and Beverly Kippenhan all of Norfolk, VA, and Danielle Kippenhan and Patrick Kippenhan both of Easton; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe; he was also the brother of the late Marguerite White and Doris Kippenhan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138), Easton, on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Rollene M. (Darsch) Krim, of Hanson, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Friday May 15, 2015, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was 76. The beloved wife of the late Paul A. Krim. Daughter of the late Andrew and Mary M. (Schira) Darsch. Loving mother of Andrew L. and his wife Jayne of Minn., David M. and his wife Amy of West Bridgewater, John W. and his wife Julie of Plymouth, and the late Stephen P. Krim of Hanson. Sister of Kathy Sampson of Plymouth. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held in the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 4 West Washington St. (Corner of Rte. 58), Hanson on Monday, from 4 - 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph the worker Church (Corner of Rte's 58 and 14), Hanson on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Kristmas, Mary L.  
Mary Laura (Goodman) Kristmas, 52, of Easton and Wareham, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Boston Medical Center. Born in Brockton on July 10, 1962, a daughter of Patrick Goodman of Easton and the late Mary Laura (Boucher) Goodman, she was raised in Easton and was a 1980 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Mary began her working career for Heldor. She then moved onto Chadwicks of Boston and was also employed by Easton Pool and Spa. Her most recent employment was with Verizon Communications as a trainer and served as District Vice President of the Union. Mary was an active volunteer with the Wareham Council on Aging and a supporter of Veterans organizations. In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, William P. Packard of Edgewater, Fla..; her siblings, Sandra Goodman of Maine, Patrick Goodman of Norton, Michael Goodman of Easton and Stephen Goodman and his wife Melissa of Bridgewater; grandmother of Makayla Packard of Edgewater, Fla., cousin of Robert Walters. She was also the sister of the late Patricia Goodman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday evening from 4 - 8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138), Easton with a funeral service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
