Sjosten, Beatrice M.  
Beatrice Mae (Bea) Sjosten, 93, departed this life on April 13, after a brief illness at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City, Calif. Bea was born in Dorchester, Mass. on Oct. 12, 1921 and lived in many towns around Mass. before moving to Calif. in 1958. Bea was a waitress and loved carrying the trays of food to her customers and always had a smile on her face. Bea was known for the wonderful english toffee candy she would make every holiday for family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands; John Francis Bagley died 1973 of Holbrook, Mass.; and Walter Sjosten died 1983 of San Bruno, Calif. Beloved mother of the late William A. Bagley died 2013 of Bridgewater, Mass. Bea is survived by her brother Robert Sargent of Escondido, Calif.; her children Jack Bagley of Whitman, Mass.; Jean Scott (Jim) of Placerville, Calif. and Russell Bagley (Sharon) of San Mateo, Calif. Also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Jim, Debbie, Tom, John, and Karen of Mass; Mike, Kyle and Kristi of Calif., plus 12 great-grandchildren of Mass. Bea was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all she meet. May she rest in peace.

Pasquale Pat Sansone, 85, a resident of Holbrook for over 60 years, formerly of Fields Corner, Dor-cherster, died Friday, April 17. He was a World War II Veteran of USMC. Son of the late Giovanni Sansone and Giuseppina Di Palma. Beloved husband of the late Naomi Sansone. He is survived by two sons, David W. Sansone, his significant other Patricia L. Logan and Patrick S. Sansone; loving grandfather to Ashley J. Sansone, Krysta L. Sansone, Alison J. Sansone, Nicholas P. Mancuso, and Beau M. Dillon; great-grandfather to Peyton J. Sansone. Mary Carol (Ferretto) Stetkis, 77, of Oak Point in Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully April 19, 2015 surrounded by family. She worked for Randy Shoe, then became a C.N.A. at Green Oak, West Acres and Easton-Lincoln Nursing Homes until retirement. She was a devout Catholic, member of Third Order of St. Francis, Eucharistic minister and leader of prayer and healing groups at Chapel of Our Savior. Mary Carol, Mimi, was the beloved wife of Arthur J. Stetkis for 57 years; loving mother of Arthur J. Stetkis Jr. and Susan of East Taunton, Michael J. Stetkis of Wrentham and Denise McGuiness and Benjamin of East Taunton; dear grandmother of Carolyn Pires and Anthony of Bridgewater, Megan and Rachel Stetkis and Christopher and Catherine McGuiness, all of East Taunton; sister of Joan Nickerson and Robert of Brockton and the late Albert Ferretto Jr.; and an aunt of many. Sabin, Shirley E.  
Shirley E. (Moore) Sabin, 87, a longtime resident of Abington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 14, after a short illness. She was the wife of 34 years to the late Robert E. Sabin. Born in Braintree, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Verna (Graves) Moore. She had attended the Huntington School of Brockton and Whitman High School. Before her recent move to Whitman, Shirley had been a resident of North Abington for over 50 years, and prior to her retirement she had worked for the Regal Shoe Company and National Chair both of Whitman. Shirley enjoyed her home and spent a lot of time outdoors gardening. She also enjoyed collecting and repairing antique dolls, quilting, painting and many other arts and crafts. She is survived by her children, Janet MacPhelemy of Whitman and Robert W. Sabin of Lakeville; and her sister, Lorraine Parker of Whitman. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Timothy and Gregory MacPhelemy, Jason and Robert Sabin; and 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Moore, Marilyn Emerson and Nancy Crawford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Monday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman. Shepard, Alice C.  
Alice Christine (Soderbom) Shepard, 84, died April 16, 2015, at Island Terrace Nursing Home, Lakeville, formerly of Bridgewater, from causes related to Alzheimers. Born in Bridgewater, Jan. 8, 1931, to the late Florence (Levy) and John Henry Soderbom, she attended Bridgewater schools, graduating in 1948. In 1950, she married the late Robert E. Shepard. She worked at George OJenkins Company in Bridgewater, Bridgewater-Raynham High School, and Old Colony Planning Council in Brockton as a fiscal officer. She was involved with the Golden Agers of Bridgewater. She enjoyed gardening, and embroidery and was a great fan of dancing and Elvis, with whom she shared the same birthday. She leaves 4 daughters, Christine Shepard of Bridgewater, Barbara Shepard and her fiance Michael Vernaglia of Norton, Karen Silva of Middleboro, and Mary Jane Shepard of Lakeville. Other survivors include 5 grandchildren, Beth Dwyer, Brian Bauer, Joseph Ouellette, Cassandra and Julie Silva; and 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Bette Stewart, James Jake Soderbom, Warren Soderbom, all of Bridgewater, and the late Robert, John, Florence Byrne, Ruth Blanchard, Myrtle Howard, and Anna Krushas. Also survived by special former son-in-law, Ray Smith of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and a special sister-in-law, Lorraine Soderbom. Services are private. Striggles, Heather F.  
Heather F. Striggles of Bridgewater died peacefully April 14, 2015, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with cancer. Heather was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Charlotte (Hill) Haley and Hartford Field of Bradford. She was raised in Bradford and graduated from Haverhill High School. Heather devoted much of her adult life to her career in social work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, retiring one year ago. She made an impact on so many lives and chose to donate often to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, veterans programs, and to her daughter's beloved sorority. Heather was the devoted wife of Darren G. Striggles; and cherished mother to Sonya L. Striggles, both of Bridgewater. Heather is also survived by her mother-in-law, Gloria E. (Soares) Striggles of Bridgewater; her brothers-in-law, Matthew Striggles Jr. and his partner Betty Lou Desrochers, Mark Striggles and Duane Striggles. Heather was the loving aunt to Linda Solomon, Brianne Striggles, Matthew Striggles III, and Jordyn Striggles; as well as the great-aunt to Daviann Solomon and Taelyn Harney. Visiting hours in the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, Tuesday, April 21, 5-8 p.m. A funeral home service will be held Wednesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt.
