Dermody, Pauline M.  
Pauline M. (Jenkins) Dermody, 89, of Avon since 1960, died peacefully March 24, 2015. Native of Maine, she was a retired nurses aide who enjoyed her home. She was the wife of the late John T. Red Dermody; beloved mother of Cynthia Colby of Avon, Barbara Allegra of North Carolina, Arthur Butch Price of Avon and the late James Michael Dermody; loving grandmother of Joseph Allegra, John Allegra, Jason Dermody and John Price; great-grandmother of 3; sister of Jeanne Ruel of Pennsylvania and the late Betty St. Lawrence; and an aunt of several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 1-3 p.m. and prayer service at 3 p.m. in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Burial at Avon Cemetery, weather permitting. Drago, Michael C.  
Michael C. Drago, of Abington age 59, died peacefully but unexpectedly while surrounded by his family and friends after a short illness on March 24. Mike was raised by his maternal grandparents; the late Charles and Veronica Harris, and grew up in Hingham. He was a graduate of Hingham High School, Class of 1974 where he excelled in hockey and baseball. Mike met his beloved wife in the early 70's at The Surf (Uncle Sam's) on Nantasket, they married on Aug 21, 1982 and settled in Abington. Mike was a skilled self-employed carpenter and worked many years as a bartender and "Mr. Everything" at South Shore Racquetball & Fitness; he loved the people he worked with. He introduced his wife to racquetball which he played for many years. Mike and his daughter Melissa shared a passion for antique cars and enjoyed cruising in his 1969 Pontiac Firebird. He also enjoyed The Three Stooges and had a varied collection. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and loved playing with his dog Boomer. He was the son of Robert Drago and Ann Marie Harris and beloved husband of Deborah A. Drago (Chiappini) of Abington. Loving father of Melissa L. Drago of Abington and stepbrother of Susan McNeil of Wilmington. Son-in-law of Louise Chiappini of Bridgewater, brother-in-law of Daniel Chiappini of Bridgewater and godfather of Todd Derbyshire of Bridgewater. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 30 at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. at 10:00 am followed by a burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
