Pickard-Howard, Rosella L. - Brockton  
Rosella L. (Decele) Pickard-Howard, 85, of Brockton, passed away April 24, 2016. Rosella was the wife of the late Ralph P. Pickard and Ralph G. Howard; beloved mother of Joan S. Pickard and her husband Fred Aloisi of Brockton, Nancy L. DeRocha and her husband John of Brockton, and the late infant twins John and Joseph Pickard; loving grandmother of Melissa R. Kucinski, Tania R.E. Homer, Ryan P. DeRocha, Bryanna M. DeRocha and Meagan J. DeRocha; great-grandmother of Michael J. Homer Jr., Jason Kucinski and Ella Rose Kucinski; dear sister of Rita Crocker of Mansfield and the late Julia Knight, Albert Decele, Beatrice Shea, Esther Knight and Cecelia Stetson; and an aunt of many. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 6-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday at 8 a.m., funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Porazzo, Paul R. - Hanover  
Paul Robert Porazzo, (U.S. Army), 87 of Pembroke and Pittsburg, NH, and the roads well-traveled in their motorhome, passed away on April 15, 2016 as the morning sunshine greeted him. He was the husband of Linda Robbins-Porazzo. Paul and Linda just celebrated their 33rd anniversary the first day of spring. Paul was born in Brockton to the late Anthony Porazzo Sr. (U.S. Army) of San Giuliano di Puglia, Italy and Helen Catherine (Sullivan) Porazzo of Weir, MA. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was stationed at HQ Sampigny Chemical Depot, Germany during the conflict. Paul was also a member of the Pembroke American Legion Post 143, Friends of Scusset Beach, Pembroke Community Group, East Pembroke Community Club, 45th Parallel Border Club of Vermont, New Hampshire & Canada, Family Motor Coach Association, Good Sam Camping Organization, and was a member of several camping clubs in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Anthony Porazzo (U.S.N) and his wife Carol of Hernando, FL, Louis Porazzo and his wife Diane of Brockton, a sister-in-law Claire Porazzo of Carver, a daughter Toni Astore and her husband Paul of Taunton, Pauls dearest cousins Nancy Ianari of Brockton, Mary Ruggiero of Brockton, and Rosemary Matta of Easton; and Pauls faithful companions Molly and Emma. Also several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many camping friends. He was also the brother of the late Michael Porazzo, Lt. Robert Porazzo (Brockton Fire Dept. and U.S. Army), Lorraine Grandizio (U.S.M.C.), Marie Valente (U.S.A.F.), and Camille Nelson. A family that loved God and their Country. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pauls memory to: Friends of Scusset Beach Reservation Corp. c/o Rockland Trust Company for purchase of a memorial bench or to the Magical Moon Foundation in Marshfield, MA. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Tuesday, April 26th from 5-7 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. Interment will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on May 20th at 10:45 a.m. and will be private. Pratt, Sherrill R. - Plymouth  
Sherrill R. (Perry) Pratt of Plymouth, died on April 24, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Bruce W. Pratt; and the loving mother of Mellissa L. Pratt of Plymouth, Michael E. Pratt Sr. of Wakefield, N.H., and Joshua M. Pratt and his wife Yanelle Reyes-Pratt of Plymouth; sister of Suzanne Grant of Fitchburg and the late Paul Perkins and Peter Whitten; cherished grandmother of Michael Jr., Marc, Jacob, Samantha, Gio, Jaxon and Joshua; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Brockton, October 11, 1953, a daughter of the late Raymond and Marjorie (Perkins) Perry, she was educated in Plymouth and a 1972 graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School. She had worked for Cumberland Farms as a clerk. Sherrill was active with the VFW 1822 in Plymouth, where she was past president of the Auxiliary and past District 12 President. Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., North Plymouth, Thursday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326 , Plymouth, MA 02360.
