Audrey I. Palleschi

Audrey I. Palleschi, 85, died peacefully on July 8 with her family by her side. Audrey was born in England to the late Michael and Florence Wilson and grew up in Avon. She was a graduate of Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing Cadet Program class of 1948 and worked at Brockton Hospital as a registered nurse for 40 years. She met her future husband on a blind date and the two married on November 15, 1952. They raised their family in Bridgewater and despite the tragic loss of her beloved 16 year old son Tony in 1973 she always maintained a loving and tight knit family. She kept Tonys memory alive and she enjoyed watching his friends grow and have families of their own. Audrey enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, knitting, and watching her grandsons play various sports. She was the loving wife and best friend of 61 years to Roger J. Palleschi of Bridgewater. Loving mother of Michael J. Palleschi and his wife Elizabeth of Bridgewater, Laurie A. Palleschi of Halifax, and the late Tony J. Palleschi. Proud Gram of Michael and Mark, and Nonni of Noah, Olivia, Finn, Wes, and Luke. Sister of late Joan Stephen, Marjorie Fuller, David Wilson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held at the Prophett- Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater on Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
