Frances Sandras, of South Easton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at The Life Care Center in West Bridgewater, Mass. Frances was the wife of the late Andrew Sandras. Mother of James McCray Jr. and his wife Deborah McCray, mother to Beverly Luft and sister of Helen Walsh Holman and brother-in-law Richard Holman, sister to Virginia Smith, and the late brothers Wilburn Brooks and Jerry Stanfield. In addition she had 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren children, 2 great great-grandchildren and a special friend to many. Frances was very active in St. Mark's Church in Easton and when living in Boston was active at the St. Frances food pantry. Mrs. Sandras was a resident of Easton since 2002. Previously, she lived in Boston, and owned Peter Piper Restaurant which was on Chaucy St. in Boston. In addition, she later worked as an Assistant Controller for the New York Trust Bank in Boston. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at St. Mark's Church, 91 Center St., No. Easton, Mass. at 11 a.m. A luncheon will be served in the lower part of the Church following the service.
