William A. McNamara

William A. Billy McNamara, 47, of Taunton, formerly of Easton, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. Born in Stoughton on Feb. 27, 1966, a son of Bette (Almeida) Hughes of Brockton and the late Richard McNamara, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. He continued his education studying CAD Programing and worked for the VA Medical Center in Brockton and for other local businesses. A resident of Easton for many years, he moved to Taunton 10 years ago. His hobbies included traveling, trips to the beach, cars and apartment decorating. He enjoyed time spent with his family, friends and the company of his cats, Harley and Milo. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Tim McNamara of Easton, Susan Guest of Sandwich and Jill Newman of Taunton; his nieces and a nephew, Nicole, Danielle, Kristen, Lauren, Matthew, Allison and Max. He was also the brother of the late John Jack McNamara. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Interment will be at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
