Ardell C. Starke, of Wetumpka, Alabama, formerly of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, where she resided most of her life, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. Ardell, known lovingly as Dell, was born on April 13, 1946. She was a strong, caring woman, who diligently cared for those she loved and overcame many obstacles set before her with fierce determination. Dell will be fondly remembered for her involvement in the Scotland Womens group and her commitment to her church. Many Bridgewater locals may also remember Dell as their favorite waitress at the early Ron Emmas restaurant many years ago. Dell is survived by her partner of many years, Curtis Fruzzetti; her sister Virginia Ginny Lincoln; her brother Roger Horton (Mary); and many nieces and nephews. Ardell is also survived by the children and grandchildren of her deceased husband, whom she loved as her own. Ardell was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Willis F. Bud Starke; her parents, Albert and Allison Thurlow; her brothers Dana Thurlow and Michael Thurlow; and brother-in-law Richard Lincoln. Ardell was an inspiration to many and loved by all. She will be sorely missed. Please join us in remembering her on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at: Scotland Trinitarian Congregational Church, 1000 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dells name may be made to the above church.
