Barbara Christensen

Barbara (Stanfield) Christensen, of Mansfield, formerly of Clearbrook, Minn., passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, at Epoch of Norton. She was 78 years old. Barbara was born in Rossville, Ga., April 11, 1933, daughter of the late Oscar B. and Iva Lee (Prather) Stanfield. Barbara was a member of the Fellowship Church in Easton. She worked as a registered nurse. She was the wife of the late Raymond Christensen; and the mother of Lorin L. Christensen of Mansfield. She was the sister of Richard Stanfield, Joyce Barker and Carolyn Sylvester all of Tennessee. She was the grandmother of Amanda and Melanie Christensen. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 28, at 3 p.m., in the Copeland-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 38 Center St., Easton, with a visiting hour one hour prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
