Carmelia J. (Feroli) Rice, 89, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2013. A daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Feroli, she worked at Howard Johnson Co. until retirement and enjoyed puzzles, knitting and animals. Carmelia was the wife of the late Raymond F. Rice; beloved mother of Marion (and Lester Butch) Salisbury of Brockton and Herbert Rice of Virginia; loving grandmother of Shane and Erin Salisbury; dear sister of Martin Feroli of Brockton and the late George and Joseph Feroli and Rose OBrien: and an aunt of many. All are welcome to a calling hour Tuesday 10:30 -11:30 a.m. and her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
