Obituary Condolences

Carol A. (MacKenzie) Kell, 72, died March 26, 2014 at the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston after a short illness. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park. Mrs. Kell was a resident of Stoughton since 1974. She worked as a Hairdresser at the Shear Cropper in Brockton for many years, retiring 14 years ago. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, in her free time she enjoyed crocheting, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, spending time at Whitehorse Beach and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four daughters: Dawn M. Szum and Robin M. Kell both of Stoughton, Lisa J. Kenney and Cara L. Harris both of Easton. She was the sister of Colin Chuck MacKenzie, Jr. of Stoughton. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte.27), Stoughton on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. Interment will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
