Ethel A. (Davis) Moore, age 100, died Feb. 2, 2014, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Moore. Born Dec. 29, 1913, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James and Empress (Wickett) Davis. Ethel was educated in Brockton schools and had lived in West Bridgewater for the past 55 years. She worked in various industries through out her life and was a member of the West Bridgewater Senior Center. She enjoyed swimming at the Y, bowling, painting and going out with her friends for lunch. She was recently the recipient of the "Passing of the Cane", which is given to the oldest resident of West Bridgewater. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sharon Moore-OBrien of Brockton; a grandson, Robert Moore of West Bridgewater; a granddaughter, Tammie Moore of Fla.; a great-granddaughter, Christine Berube; a great-grandson, Kyle Moore; a great great-granddaughter, Georgia Mae Berube; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also the mother of the late Robert Moore. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, from 9:30 - 11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral home, 647 Main Street, Brockton.
