George E. Dietenhofer, of Holbrook, formerly of Rockland, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2013, at the age of 69. Born in Boston, George grew up and graduated from Dedham High School. For over 33 years, George worked for United Liquors Distributors. George was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the Boston Bruins. His one wish was for the Bruins to win the Stanley Cup and he was so happy he was able to see that happen. George enjoyed spending time with his family. George is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie (Vasquez) Dietenhofer. Loving father of Lynne Dietenhofer of Abington and Scott Dietenhofer and his wife Julie of Holbrook. Devoted brother of Robert Dietenhofer and his wife Doris of Canton. Dear grandfather of Jenna and Jason. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
