Obituary Condolences

James E. Robak, 53, a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, passed away on Feb. 12, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Son of the late John A. Robak and Lorraine (Pearson) Robak. He was raised in Bridgewater and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School in 1978. James worked at Murray Carver Cotton Gin for many years and for the East Bridgewater School system for 18 years. He was a member of the Bridgewater Polish Club and enjoyed playing pool and darts there. James is survived by 5 sisters, Mary Ellen Parris of Lehigh Acres, FL, Donna Fontes of Middleborough, MA, Catherine Martelli of Bridgewater MA, Carol Conway of Lakeville, MA, and Nancy Stowell of Somerset, MA. He is also survived by 3 brothers, John A Robak of Berkley, MA, Carl Robak of Richville, SC, Robert Robak of Taunton, MA, the late Christopher Robak of Bridgewater, MA, and many nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater on Monday, Feb. 18 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater at 9 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in James's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice.
