Lillian (Earle) Webster, a longtime resident of West Bridgewater, died peacefully at home Sept. 4, 2013, after a period of declining health. Lillian was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Everett, daughter of the late George and Selina (Barrett) Earle. After graduating from high school in Easton, she attended Bridgewater State Teacher's College until her marriage to Paul C. Webster Sr. in 1946. The couple were married for 63 years until Paul's death in 2009. After raising her children, Lillian returned to Bridgewater State College where she received her bachelor's degree in 1967 and her master's degree in 1969. Lillian taught in the West Bridgewater School System from 1965 to 1985. In retirement, Lillian traveled extensively, often with members of the KA Seniors Group. In recent years she maintained her connection with KA; going on trips, playing bingo every Tuesday and helping at fundraisers. Lillian greatly enjoyed following Boston sports, most particularly the Boston Red Sox. Lillian is survived by her children, Margaret Rossier of Taunton, Robert Webster of Duxbury, Paul Webster Jr. of West Bridgewater and Richard Webster of Toledo, Ohio. Lillian had seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Furnace Village Cemetery in Easton.
