Mary Roque of Bridgewater passed away May 6, 2013, at the age of 83. She was born in Barnstable, Aug. 29, 1929, and later moved to Brockton, the daughter of the late Martin and Mildred Connolly. She graduated from Brockton High School and was employed by the George E. Keith Shoe Factory. She married the late Clement Roque in 1953 and they settled in Bridgewater to raise their family. They liked to travel to New Hampshire on camping trips. She loved to knit and travel to craft shows. She was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Mary is survived by her children, Kathie Barbieri and her husband Richard of Plymouth, James Roque and his wife Carol of Bridgewater, Stephen Roque and his wife Dianna of Berkley, Thomas Roque of Bridgewater and Patricia Leite and her husband Keith of East Taunton. She also leaves her grandchildren, Ashley, Jimmy, Danny, Brandon, Lisa, Christina and Jennifer; and seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. She also leaves her beloved cat, Chi Chi. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
