Robert J. Parilla Jr. of Brockton, formerly of Sharon., died Jan 3, 2013, at age 62. Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Sharon and attended Bishop Feehan High School for three years and graduated Sharon High School, Class of 1968. He was formerly employed with Metal Bellows in Sharon as a welder, also employed with Cape Cod Lumber and Harte & Hanks in Brockton. Robert was very involved as a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows church in Sharon. He was the loving father of Rebecca Davis of North Providence and Trisha Parilla of East Bridgewater; devoted son of Imelda Parilla of Sharon and the late Robert J. Parilla Sr.; brother of Joanne Peters of Greenfield and Michael Parilla of Sharon; grandfather of Kayleigh and Alexandra Beardsworth, both of Foxboro, also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton, Monday, Jan. 7, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Cottage St., Sharon, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Sunday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
