Tammy Lynn (Fernandes) Ducharme, age 37 years, went to be with the Lord Dec. 9, 2012. She passed away suddenly in her sleep of a heart illness at her home in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. She was the beloved wife of Leo H. Ducharme Jr. of Florida. She was born in Middleboro, Mass., daughter of Leonard and Donna (Robbins) Fernandes of Middleboro. She was a graduate of Bristol Plymouth High School. Tammy was the mother and caregiver for her precious daughter, Emily, who predeceased her in 2007. She lovingly cared for Emily for 9 years, until her passing, and went on to become a L.P.N. She was best known for her sense of humor, her uncanny ability to get a smile or laugh from anyone who came into contact with her. She was compassionated, always putting others before herself. Tammy is survived by her husband, Leo; her mother and father, Leonard and Donna; two sisters, Dawn McSherry and Eric Schomburg of Plymouth, Denise and her husband David Petronelli of Middleboro; niece, Amanda Washburn of Middleboro; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Tammy was loved and will be missed more than words can describe. Visiting hours will be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, Friday, Dec. 14, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
