Victor A. Khoury, 90, of West Yarmouth, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully July 14, 2013. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy 1943-1946 in aviation during World War II. Upon his return, he and his brother opened an auto service and gas station in Brockton named Al & Vics and was proprietor for 50 years. He also was a compositor for over 25 years for The Enterprise in Brockton. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and he was a member of the VFW. Victor was the beloved husband of Mary (Pell) Khoury for 57 years; loving father of Paul Khoury (and his wife Marybeth) of Brockton and Christine Mary Khoury of West Yarmouth; dear grandfather of Kaitlyn and Patrick Khoury; brother of the late Eli Al Khoury; and a devoted uncle of many. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. with an incense service at 6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Friday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. service of the divine liturgy celebrated in St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
