William Prodouz, 92, of Brockton, died March 22, 2013. Born in Stoughton, raised in Avon and graduating from Boston Trade School, he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was self-employed as a builder and installed swimming pools. A skilled woodworker, Bill enjoyed making fishing lures. He was a member of Massachusetts Striped Bass Association, Striped-Bass.com, Polish White Eagles, Whitman VFW Post 697 and Marines Group VMF 311. His family being most important to him, he was the beloved husband of Dolores Dolly (Kowalski) Prodouz for 63 years; loving father of Carol Clancy of Brockton and William P. Prodouz (and Kristina (Nelson) Prodouz) of South Boston; devoted grandfather of Heather and Caitlin Clancy and Erica Morenoff (and her husband Daniel) and Daniel Prodouz (and his wife Stephanie McCleese); great-grandfather of Eva, Abbie and Maggie Morenoff and Felix McCleese-Harrell; brother of Kay Haskell and the late Nicholas, John, Walter, Alex and Raymond Prodouz and Mary Klimchuk; and an uncle of many. Following cremation, all are welcome to gather on Wednesday, March 27 at 11 a.m. for a noon service in Waitt Funeral Chapel, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Private committal at V.A.
