Paul E. Clancy Sr., 76, of West Harwich and formerly of Brockton, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. He was the husband of the late Janice E. (Dubois) Clancy. Born April 29, 1937, in Brockton, he was the son of the late Leo V. Clancy and Helena (McGrail) Clancy. Raised in Brockton, he graduated from Brockton High School in 1956 and Boston College in 1960. Paul was a realtor in Brockton with McCormick Real Estate until opening the Paul E. Clancy Real Estate Agency in 1977. Paul enjoyed boating, the ocean, and Cape Cod. He was a former member of Allens Harbor Yacht Club in West Harwich. He is survived by his sons, Atty. Paul E. Clancy Jr. and his wife Nadia of East Bridgewater and Michael V. Clancy and his wife Mary Jane of Brockton; his grandchildren, Michael, Maxwell, Julia, Maguire, Aidan, Sean and Naya; his brother, J. Fred Clancy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leo V. Clancy Jr. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton, Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services and interment will be private.
