Beverly M. Willis, 80, a resident of Easton for the past 32 years, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harold H. Willis Jr. Born in Brockton, July 28, 1933, a daughter of the late Ernest H. and Ellen G. (Tucker) Willis, she was raised in in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. A homemaker when her children were young, she later went to work as a designer for Hilliards House of Candy for 25 years. After, she became a playground aid at the Parkview School in Easton for the past 4 years, a position which she enjoyed. Devoted to her family, Beverly enjoyed getting away with her family to North Conway, N.H., for many years. Her hobbies included painting, reading and crocheting. Beverly is survived by her children, Sandra E. Bourne and her husband James of Easton and Bradford A. Willis and his wife Kathleen of Foxboro; a sister, Roberta Richard of West Bridgewater; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Steven R. Willis and Jeffrey M. Willis and sister of the late Ernest Goodwin. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service Friday at 11:30 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte. 138), Easton.
