Lydia "Sue" Heisler, age 90, a lifelong Bridgewater resident, died March 20, 2014, in Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a short illness. Sue was born in Bridgewater, daughter of the late Maria (Silva) and Eugene Domingos. Mrs. Heisler was raised and educated in Bridgewater, and the past president of the Scotland Women's Club and the Catholic Women's Club. Sue worked for over 20 years as a nursing assistant. Wife of the late Henry A. Heisler, she was the mother of Henry C. Heisler and his wife Barbara of Shrewsbury, John K. Heisler and his wife Donna of Plymouth and William D. Heisler and his wife Patrice of Redding, Conn.; sister of Marion Riley of Raynham, Elsie Sanford of West Bridgewater and the late Manuel, Anthony and Gene Domingos; grandmother of Matthew, Benjarmin, Keith, Bradley, Rebecca and Rachel Heisler. Sue is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial in Scotland Cemetery.
