John S. Rocharz Jr., age 75 years, of Middleboro, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Crawshaw) Rocharz. Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late John S. and Natalie M. (Siwilla) Rocharz. He was a retired machinist at the Reed and Barton Company. After retirement he owned and operated, with his wife, the John and Elaine Cleaning Service. He served in the National Guard Yankee Division. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. He enjoyed camping, fishing, RVing, Polish picnics, polka dancing, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, a son, John S. III and his wife Sharon Rocharz of Middleboro; a daughter, Patricia and her husband Daniel Delaney of Middleboro; four grandchildren, John S. IV and his wife Pam Rocharz of Lakeville, Thomas Rocharz of Hyannis, David Rocharz of Middleboro, and Sarah Delaney of Middleboro; two great-grandchildren, Paige and Connor Rocharz; two aunts, Adella Stanis of Seekonk, Helen Killian of Provincetown; and several cousins. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 3, from 4-7 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Friday, April 4, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemetery, Middleboro.
