Armando Ceasar" "CeeCee Fernandes, of Brockton, died May 25, 2014, at Norwood Hospital. Born in Cape Verde, he was the son of Joaquim and Anica Fernandes. Armando grew up and was educated in Cape Verde and came to Scituate in 1971, and then moved to Brockton. He worked for Sealy Posturepedic and enjoyed fishing, volunteering in the community and spending time with his family. He was a member of a Club United and a Communicant of Saint Edith Stein Church. He is survived by siblings, Herminia Pinina Andrade, Amancio Amos Fernandes, Joaquim Tony Fernandes, Bartolomeo Fernandes (deceased), Pedro Fernandes (deceased), Francisco Frank Fernandes, Maria Maninha Domingas Lopes, Manuel Fernandes, Benjamin Bentura Fernandes, Miguel Fernandes (deceased) and Filipe Fernandes (deceased); along with nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. A funeral Mass of Christian burial will take place Monday, June 2, 2014, at 10 in St. Edith Stein Church, in Brockton. Burial will take place in Cape Verde. Visitation will take place Sunday, June 1, 2014, from 5-9 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton.
