Shannon B. Crowley Obituary
Shannon Brea Shea Crowley, of Bridgewater, a cancer survivor, passed away from complications of Neuroblastoma treatment June 29, 2014 at the age of 8. Beloved and cherished daughter of Dennis and Julie (McSolla) Crowley. Devoted sister and best friend of Brendan and Ceighlyn Crowley both of Bridgewater. Dear granddaughter of Dotty (Hocking) McSolla of Randolph and the late Edward McSolla, Jack Crowley of Randolph and the late Maureen (Norris) Crowley. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and her extended family. Shea was born in Boston and a lifelong resident of Bridgewater and was a 2nd grade student at George Mitchell Elementary School. She loved Irish step dancing, gymnastics, loved to read and loved school. She will be lovingly remembered as being courageous, smart, and funny. She most especially enjoyed her family, the beach and spending time with her cousins. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph until 9:15 a.m. Thursday followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in her name to Cops For Kids With Cancer, 14 Michele Ln, Braintree, MA 02184, copsforkidswithcancer.org.
