Obituary Condolences

David James LaRosa, 67, of South Yarmouth, formerly of East Bridgewater, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston. He was the husband of Eileen B. (Curley) LaRosa; they had been married for 42 years. Born in Brockton; he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Alexander) LaRosa. David served in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War, as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. He was a retired letter carrier with the East Bridgewater Post Office, and since retirement has worked at Pines Golf Course and Highland Golf Course, both in Dennis. He was a member of the Hanson Rod & Gun Club, Cape Cod Fish & Game Sportsmans Club, and a former board member of the G.O.A.L. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and pistol shooting. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Katie Komejko and her husband Mark of Middleboro; a brother, Frank LaRosa and his wife Cory of Bridgewater; a grandson, Tyler Komejko. Visitation will take place in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, on Tuesday, July 8, from 9 -10 a.m., with a prayer service to be held at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
