David A. McManus, 58, lifelong resident of Lakeville, died on Friday, July 4, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born in New Bedford, son of Eugene E. McManus and the late Constance M. (Smith) McManus. He was a 1973 graduate of Apponequet Regional High School, and had worked as a warehouse worker at Ocean Spray for many years. He was a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church, Middleboro. He was a great friend to many, and loved animals. Survivors include his father, uncle, Bob and Betty McManus; aunt, Marjorie and Larry Cowan; several cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 7, from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Central Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations to: The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
