Obituary Condolences

Richard J. Rollins BROCKTON Richard J. Rollins, of Brockton, died June 25, 2009, after 82 years of service to his family and to society. A son of the late William and Hattie (Wheaton) Rollins, he was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran with service in the Mediterranean. His working life spanned several occupations, from the family dairy farm in Easton during the 1940s and 1950s, to a career of being both a ships and licensed electrician over the past three decades. He was nonjudgemental of all those he knew and a true friend to each. Richard was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Melanson) Rollins; loving father of Nancy Baril and her husband Donald of Maine, Richard M. Rollins of Arizona, Kathleen LaShare and her husband Gregg of Louisiana, Lisa Milligan and her husband Michael of Brockton and Scott Weyant and his wife Darlene of Taunton; brother of the late William Rollins and Virginia Davison; dear grandfather of 11; and the great-grandfather of 15.
