Jean (Mihesuah) DiCicco, 77, of Whitman, passed away surrounded by her family Monday, May 9, in Good Samaritan Medical Center after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Raffaele DiCicco. She was born and brought up in Lawton, Okla., daughter of the late Roy and Lin (Hoahwah) Mihesuah. She was a dedicated Jehovah Witness. Jean enjoyed reading and walking on the beach. Jean was a resident of Whitman for many years and was a loving mother of eight children. She is survived by her loving children, Jean (DiCicco) DeChambeau, Raymond DiCicco, Karen (DiCicco) Redgate, all of Whitman, Joni (DiCicco) McKeague of Bridgewater, Michael DiCicco, Lorraine DiCicco, both of Rockland; her sisters, Mary Pennah of Texas, Verlena Deering of Oklahoma; and her brother, Roy Mihesuah of Texas; also 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Joey, Rayne and Aiden. She was also the mother of the late Desire Diane DiCicco and Ralph DiCicco, and grandmother of the late Melissa Coelho, and sister of the late Helen Tabbytosavit and Lanell Valencia. Her services will be held Friday, May 13, in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman, from 6-9 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life Friday evening in the American Legion Hall, Whitman, after her services.
