Lorraine Jeannette (Dube) Poh of Bridgewater, age 85, died peacefully March 2. Lorraine grew up in Lawrence and was the loving daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Dube. She married the late John Charles Poh Sept. 5, 1948, and the two settled in Bridgewater, where they raised their 10 children. Lorraine was devoted to her family and was happiest when she was with them at family gatherings and sporting events. She always kept her door open to family and friends. She enjoyed yard sales, cooking, sewing, and in her younger years, traveling. Lorraine was the loving mother of John and his wife Erin of San Francisco, Calif., James of Maynard, Jeffrey and his wife Lisa of Lakeville, Jerel of Bridgewater, Joan of Bridgewater, Jan and his wife Kerri of Bridgewater, Jay and his wife Lori of Middleboro, Thomas of Bridgewater, Timothy of Bridgewater, and William and his wife Mary of Winchester, N.H. She adored her 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews from the Dube side of her family. Survived by brother, Edward Ernest Dube and his wife Mary of Methuen; and sister to the late Evelyn, Irene, Athur and Alfred. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, March 8, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
