Edward J. Himself Regan, 78, of Brockton for over 50 years, died March 6, 2013. Born in East Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and later moved to Brockton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a former member of VFW Post 1046 and Polish White Eagles. He was a service representative for Westinghouse industrial division. Edward was the son of the late Martin J. and Margaret Regan; husband of the late Regina P. (Baronas) Regan; beloved father of Edward J. Regan Jr., Michael P. Regan and Margaret A. Kearney and her husband Thomas, all of Brockton; loving grandfather of Jake Kearney and Bobby and Regina Thompson; brother of the late Winnifred Hall and Martin and Robert Regan and an uncle of many. All are welcome to calling hours Monday 4 - 8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Parish and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
