Lawrence H. Larry Fortin, 77, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died June 15, 2013. Born in Brockton on October 12, 1935, he was the son of the late Lawrence O. and Mary (Kearns) Fortin. He was educated in Brockton and graduated from Brockton Trade School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He owned Larrys Cabinet Shop and later Beaver Woodworking Supplies. Larry was a member of Wheels of Time. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Harris) Fortin; loving father of Linda Murphy (and her husband Paul) of East Bridgewater, Brenda Parsons (and Mike Reynolds) of Middleboro, Rhonda Callahan (and her husband Paul) of Foxboro and Glenn Fortin (and Tammy LaGasse) of Brockton; grandfather of Kristen, Katie, Lindsay, Lauren, Shauna, Leah, Alisha and Josh; great-grandfather of Trevor; brother of Meredith Blaney of Holbrook and Kathleen White of Brockton; and an uncle of many.
