Frances A. (Krafton) Curley, 99, of Braintree, formerly of Brockton, a retired shoe worker, died Sept. 12, 2013, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm at home one week ago. She was the wife of the late James J. Curley. Born Sept. 5, 1914, in Braintree, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Orlofsky) Krafton. She attended Brockton schools and was a resident of Brockton most of her life until returning to Braintree. Mrs. Curley worked for Berco Shoe Co. in Brockton and Stride Rite Shoe Co. in Boston until her retirement in 1976. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts, watching the Red Sox and Patriots on TV, and spending winter months at her home in Kissimmee, Fla. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Jensen, and son-in-law G. Thomas Jensen of Braintree, with whom she made her home; two grandsons, Thomas J. Jensen of Boston and David Jensen of Sanford, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Helen Canelias and Anthony, Stanley and Frederick Krafton.
