Rose J. Bagdasarian

Obituary Condolences

Rose J. (Kulian) Bagdasarian, age 92 years, longtime resident of Middleboro, and resident of the Arbors in Taunton for the last four years, died Feb. 18, 2014, at Life Care Center of Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Mal Bagdasarian, who predeceased her on January 16, 2005; they had been married for 59 years. Born in Middleboro, she was daughter of the late George and Rose (Tavoukjian) Kulian. She was a 1939 graduate of Middleboro Memorial High School. She was the retired treasurer of the Lakeville Hospital, and had previously worked at Bucks Drug Store and Eggers Furniture Store. She enjoyed bingo, pokeno, trips to Foxwoods, and watching the Red Sox. Survivors include two sons, Richard M. and his wife Cheryl Bagdasarian of Kissimmee, Fla., and Gary S. and his wife Dottie Bagdasarian of Middleboro; a granddaughter, Kelley Bagdasarian of Baltimore, Md.; several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Jacob Jack Kulian. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, from 2-4 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, with a memorial service to be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
