Cain, Una M.  
Una Marie Cain (Hansen), of Pembroke, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at the grand age of 91. She was the beloved mother of Jacqueline Cain, Sharon Crowley, and Donna Cain; cherished grandmother of Wanda Lieske, Jennifer Higgins, Rachel Crowley, Jonathan Higgins, Sarah Crowley, and Elynne Lockhart; and loving great-grandmother of Sophia Higgins and Jasper Higgins. Her devoted son-in-law, James Crowley was her "Dancing With The Stars" viewing partner for the last five years. Una was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and lived most of her life there before settling in Pembroke in 1996. Though she missed her friends and the warm sunshine of the Caribbean, Una formed close bonds with the friends she made in Massachusetts. She will be lovingly remembered for the kindness she showed to family and others. A memorial service will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Interment services will be private. Carmody, John R.  
John R. Carmody of Braintree, died December 25, 2014. John worked for 54 years for as an electrician for Local #103 as well as for many years with the MBTA. He was an avid runner completing five Boston Marathons, one Newport Marathon, an avid sports fan and took much pleasure for his daily walks with his dog, Riley. He was also a friend of Bill W. He was also a veteran serving with the United States Army. Beloved husband of Tina L. (Lizzi) Carmody. Loving father of Therese Pond and her husband, Barry, of Taunton, Tina Fuller of Braintree, Richard Carmody and his wife, Lynn, of Norwell, Joan Willard of Weymouth, and the late Jennifer Carmody. Brother of Madelyn Mueller of Randolph. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opposite So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Rory P. Colleary, of Milton and Wareham, suddenly December 22, 2014. Beloved son of Janet (Sullivan) and John T. Colleary. Paul Augustine Colbert, Atty, 84, of Scituate, passed away on December 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Catherine M. (Ballantine). Devoted father of Maureen and Alfredo of Sandwich, Vincent and Marie of Walpole, Timothy and Natalie of Plymouth, Patrick and Dominique of San Diego, and Mary Kate of Jamaica Plain. Son of the late Thomas F. and Helen M. (Higgins) of Somerville. Preceded in death by his siblings Marjorie, Thomas, Walter, Robert, Rev. John J., Rev. Arthur T. SSJ, Richard and James. He is survived by his siblings Francis X. of Madison, NJ, Mary C. Connor of Baltimore, MD, Sister Helen Thomas, CSJ, of Brighton, and Helen M. Conroy of Guilford, CT. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Erik, Matthew, Peter, Amanda, Morgan, Daniel, Joseph, Lily, Owen, Jack, Harrison, Makena, Sean, and Vivian. Graduate of St. Clement's High School, Somerville; St. John's Seminary - 2 years; served in the U.S. Army in France - 2 years. Tufts University, Class of 1955. Suffolk Law, Class of 1958. Worked with U.S. Social Security Administration in Baltimore and Boston, 1961 - 1986; Practiced law privately in Scituate. Soccer coach, referee and all-around super fan of his children and grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate Harbor, at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 29th. Cotter, Norma J.  
Norma Jean (Hebb) Cotter, 73, of Carver, formerly of Plymouth and Crystal River, Florida, died on December 18th at Beth Israel-Boston. Beloved wife of the late James Cotter, she is survived by her children Jim Cotter and his wife Danielle of Plymouth, Steven Cotter and his partner Jen Glejf of Duxbury and Kimberly Fahey and her wife Erin of Plymouth. She also leaves her 4 cherished grandchildren Michelle, Meghan, Emily and Jennifer. Norma worked for the Department of Conservation and Recreation at Scusset Beach and was an active member of the Friends of Scusset Beach. She was very artistic and loved working with computers. She also enjoyed photography, handwriting analysis, cooking, reading and spending time with family. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 8 p.m. Burial will be private. Crowell, Elizabeth M.  
Elizabeth M. Betty Crowell, 66, a resident of Easton for the past 25 years, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Boston on Nov. 20, 1948, a daughter of Mary E. (Blackadar) Crowell of Buzzards Bay and the late William A. Crowell, she was raised in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School. She continued her education at Hickox Business School earning an associate degree. Betty began working as an administrative assistant for Masoneilan of Norwood. After, she worked as a risk management director for Cumberland Farms of Canton and later took a position for Toomey Munson and Associates of Norwood and Shaw Stone & Webster as an administrative assistant. Betty was an avid animal enthusiast who enjoyed the company of her dogs. She enjoyed reading, planting flowers, gardening and traveling throughout the United States. In addition to her mother Mary, she is survived by her brother, Kenneth P. Crowell and his wife Joan of West Bridgewater, 1 niece and 2 nephews, Michael Crowell of Dracut, Stacey Paretchan and her husband Matthew of Lakeville, and Brian Crowell and Jeanine Bresett of West Bridgewater; 2 great-nephews, Zachary and Liam; and a great-niece, Madison. Capaccioli, Steven A.  
Steven Arthur "Capa" Capaccioli, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family December 20, 2014, at the age of 59. Born in Quincy, February 26, 1955, he was the son of Jean (Gower) and the late Arthur Capaccioli. Steve was raised in Norwell and graduated from Norwell High School in 1973. A longtime resident of Hanson, Steve worked at General Dynamics for 36 years after completing his education at Northeast Institute and becoming an HVAC technician. As an avid outdoorsman, Steve enjoyed and excelled at hunting, fishing, and golfing. Being a skilled craftsman, he tirelessly rebuilt his Beneteau sailboat aptly named Fire Sail that he sailed with his wife, family, and friends out of the Savin Hill Yacht Club in Dorchester. Steve enjoyed cruising on his Harley down scenic back roads throughout New England. Most importantly, Steves true gift was being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and shared his talents, stories, and love with everyone he touched. His patience and love was seen while teaching and playing with his three grandsons and his spirit will live on through them and everyone who knew him. A beloved husband to Sara T. (Grogan) of Quincy and predeceased by his first wife, Maureen P. (Flaherty) of Pembroke, he was the loving father of Sarah Ranahan and her husband Christopher of Scituate and Meaghan Cogswell and her husband Joshua of Weymouth; devoted brother of Cheryl Rosebach of Abington, David Capaccioli and his wife Karen of Hanover, and Robert Capaccioli and his wife Sharlene of Halifax. He was the cherished Grampy of Colin, Owen, and Ryan Ranahan; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chapman, Jane  
Jane Lothrop Chapman, 77, a resident at Continuing Care at Linden Ponds in Hingham, passed away peacefully December 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in 1937 to Dr. Eaton Shaw and Alice (Sweetser) Lothrop of Portland, Maine, and Gray, Maine. She was raised in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, where she graduated as valedictorian of her Class. After high school, Jane attended Smith College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1959. Shortly after college, she was married and commenced her successful career raising four children, principally in Cohasset, where the family resided for 36 years. In addition to her love of family, Jane maintained ardent interests in reading, walking, traveling, animals, tennis, gardening and sewing. Jane was a sweet and graceful woman who possessed a subtle, yet particularly quick wit. She personified treat others the way you want to be treated with a feisty zest for family, friends and life in general. Jane was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be dearly missed. During her long battle with Alzheimers and Parkinsons, Jane was cared for with great compassion by the entire staff at Continuing Care at Linden Ponds. The family is deeply appreciative of the staffs dedicated and empathetic service to Jane and the family. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Peter A. Chapman of Hingham; and their four children, Linda C. Bastarache and her husband Paul of Cohasset, Peter A. Chapman Jr. and his wife Katherine of East Schodack, N.Y., David W. Chapman and his wife Linda and their daughter, Abigail of Norwell and Jennifer C. Kuser and her husband Eric and their son, Ryan and daughter Lindsay of Hingham.
