Gladney, Patricia A.  
Patricia A. Patty (Imrie) Gladney, age 58, formerly of Braintree, died peacefully, Friday, November 21, 2014, at Quincy Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Patty was born in Cambridge, raised and educated in Braintree schools. She had lived in Quincy for five years, previously living in Braintree for most of her life. She was a former bartender at the Braintree Lodge of Elks for nine years. Patty enjoyed life, travelling and was devoted to her family and friends. Beloved wife for thirty-five years of Joseph E. LeGrand, she was the devoted mother of Lynnmarie Gladney-Sweeney of Quincy, Tammy Ann Gladney-Flynn and her husband Joseph of Braintree; cherished grandmother of Anthony, Adam, Kristiana and Patrick; loving great-grandmother of Alena; dear sister of Gina Fava and her husband Thomas of Conn., George Imrie and his wife Marie of Fla., Michael Imrie and his wife Mary of Maine, Sally Imrie and Jose Diaz of Braintree. Patty is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Tuesday, November 25, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. At the request of the family, interment services will be private. Greene, Ann Torsney  
Ann (Sullivan) Torsney Greene of Quincy, passed away November 16, 2014, at age 88. She was the devoted mother of Kathleen T. Young of Boston and Richard Torsney of Humarock; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Marie Young of Watertown, Kathryn McCullough of Boston, Michael Russell of Humarock, Nicole Russell McCabe of Woburn, Gianna Pepe of Stoughton, and Emily and Joseph Torsney of Humarock; devoted wife of the late Richard Torsney and Joseph Greene. Born in Dublin, Ireland, daughter of the late Christopher and Anne (McCarthy) Sullivan, her mother died in childbirth and she was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Esther and Hector Paden, who raised her as their own "Queenie" in America. As the daughter of a World War I hero who fought for America, she was born an American citizen on foreign soil. Accordingly, she always had a strong love of both her birth country, Ireland, and her adopted country, America. Ann was a strong woman's advocate, introducing the first flex time arrangement at Frank B. Hall and Company, where she worked as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. Her life was full of appreciation for the visual arts, music, history, and literature. She was an accomplished painter, poet and gardener and a lifelong volunteer in civic activities including the PTA, Cub Scouts, Quincy Historical Society and poll volunteer. She made friends at all stages of life from her high school days in the Ladies Club, which was active for over 55 years, to her final days with the wonderful caregivers at Hancock Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her positive spirit and strong faith and courage remain as an example to all. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy, at 10:30 a.m. At Ann's request, her ashes will be scattered in a ceremony at sea at a later date. Guest, Julia A.  
Julia A. Nan (Nee) Guest, age 82, a longtime resident of Quincy, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Julia was born, raised and educated in Boston. She was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and lived in Quincy for over fifty years. She also enjoyed many winters at Twin Lakes in Stuart, Fla. Julia worked as a claims administrator for the Quincy Mutual Insurance Company for twenty years and was retired for many years. She had a passion for shopping and was affectionately known as the Shopping Queen. Julia was well-known as a loving woman who was devoted to her family and especially to her cherished grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Bernard T. Bud Guest, she was the devoted mother of Frank T. Guest of Florida, Noreen OConnell and her husband Michael of Quincy; loving grandmother of Frank, Dayna, Terrence, Mollie, Abigail, and the late Corey and Jonathan. Julia is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends. Gyles, Patricia J.  
Patricia Jean (Marshall) Gyles, 70, of Fitchburg Road, Townsend, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Heywood Hospital, Gardner. Her husband, Ronald L. Gyles, died October 30, 2014. Mrs. Gyles was born in Elmira, N.Y., March 8, 1944, a daughter of Lawrence and Regina (Bustin) Marshall and resided in Scituate and Pepperell before moving to Townsend sixteen years ago. She was a graduate of Woburn High School. For 15 years, Mrs. Gyles worked as a greeter at the Walmart in Hudson, N.H. She enjoyed bowling and had participated in leagues at Harvard Lanes in Harvard. She leaves two daughters, Helen Lisa MacLean of Scituate, Melissa A. MacLean of Ashburnham; two sisters, Mary Bravo Millport, N.Y., and Catherine Drew of Horseheads, N.Y.; two brothers, Thomas Marshall of Millport, N.Y., James Marshall of Winchester; three grandchildren, Lyndsay Long, Amber Dobson and Patrick Gilligan. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at St. Johns Church, 1 School Street, Townsend. Gustafson, Nancy J.  
Nancy J. (Tabor) Gustafson, 77, passed away November 13, 2014. She was born in Dorchester, August 1, 1937, to the late David L. Tabor and Dorothy I. (Williams) Tabor. She lived for a short time in Dorchester and Braintree before moving to Quincy in 1947. Nancy graduated from North Quincy High School in 1955 and went on to be a hairdresser until her children were born. She went back to work in 1972 at Quincy City Hospital in the Central Processing Department until her retirement in 1998. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John A. Gustafson Jr., and brother, Leslie F. Tabor. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy OToole of Nashua, N.H.; son, David Gustafson of Quincy; sister-in-law, Anne Tabor of Quincy; sister-in-law, Judith Waldon of Memphis, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Bryan OToole and Kelly OToole of Nashua, N.H.; as well as several nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no services.
