Harrison, Arlene E.  
Arlene E. (Callahan) Harrison, 89 of Rockland passed away on June 26, 2015 at the Southwood at Norwell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Rockland, daughter of the late Albert and Annie (Phair) Callahan and was raised and educated there. She graduated from Rockland High School in 1943. Mrs. Harrison had been employed for a 10 years at the former American Sandpaper Company in Rockland. Her primary career was as a wife and mother. She was one of the original coaches in the Rockland Girls Youth Basketball League where she served for more than 15 years. Arlene enjoyed the activities and friendships that she made at the Rockland Senior Center. Arlene enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts and all sports. She loved trips to New Hampshire, the beach and the summer cottage in Plymouth. Wife of the late Thomas Harrison, she was the mother of Jeff Harrison of Rockland and the late Pamela Fisher. She was the sister of Agnes Jacintho of No. Conway, N.H. and the late Anita Minnehan. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Thomas Harrison, Evan Harrison, Peter Harrison, Emily Harrison and Samantha Fisher and several nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Tuesday June 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. prior to a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, MA. Burial will follow the services in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Rockland Council on Aging, 317 Plain St., Rockland, MA 02370.

Handibode, Peter J.  
Peter J. Handibode USMC, of Weymouth, died suddenly June 20, 2015 at the age of 19. Peter graduated from Weymouth High School in 2014. After graduation, he fulfilled his lifelong dream and entered the United States Marine Corps. He was currently stationed in Florida. and was about to graduate with honors from air traffic control training. Peter was active in martial arts his entire life. He will be remembered as generous, helpful and kind by his many friends and family members. Cherished son of Joanne and Peter B. Handibode Jr. of Weymouth. Loving grandson of Helen Ziniti of So. Weymouth and the late Joseph Ziniti, Peter Handibode Sr. and Diane Sweeney. Loving brother of Kaila Handibode of Weymouth and her fiance Sean Adams and Kelsea Handibode of Weymouth. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2 - 6 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 40 Sea Street (off Rte .3A-Bicknell Sq.) North Weymouth. Hughes, Kathryn M.  
Kathryn M. (Sheehan) Hughes of Weymouth and Marco Island, Fla., age 76, passed away on June 25, 2015, from a long illness at Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham. Kay was born March 28, 1939, in Quincy. Prior to devoting her life to raising her four children, Kay was employed by the city of Quincy and worked several years in the citys assessor office. Kay enjoyed spending her winters in Marco Island, Fla., with her husband and many friends and her summers in Weymouth, enjoying time with her children and grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Sheehan. Kay is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Paul G. Hughes; sons, Paul Hughes Jr. of Greenfield and Richard Hughes (Donna) of Halifax; daughter, Amy Dooley (Stephen) of Middleton; and son, Stephen Hughes (Melissa) of West Newbury; 7 grandchildren, Samantha, Forest, Rachel, Bridget, Nolan, Sophia, Emma; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late John Sheehan and his wife Geri of Weymouth. Hassan, Gary S.  
Gary S. Hassan, 62, of Rockland, died suddenly on June 23, 2015. He was born in Weymouth, son of Albert and Esther (Morano) Hassan and was raised and educated in Rockland. He graduated from Rockland High School in 1972. He had a renowned career with the RHS Bulldog football team. Gary had been employed as a driver for the United Parcel Service, UPS, for twenty five years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #25. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and was a Civil War and World War II Historian. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judith (Riordon) Hassan, his children Melissa Hassan McDonald and her husband Paul, Lyndsay Hassan, and Craig Hassan and his wife Annmarie. He was the proud Gigi to Zachary, Najia, Nolan, Caleb, Ava and Aedan. He was the brother of Sherri Hassan, Bruce Hassan and Albert Hassan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life on Sunday, June 28, 2015 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland from 3 - 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church , 403 Union St., Rockland. Higgins, Corinne R.  
Corinne R. (Bergen) Higgins, of Hingham, died June 16, 2015. Corinne worked as a Registered Nurse at Childrens Hospital in Boston before raising her family. When her children were older she worked as the Director of the Day Care at Old Ship Church in Hingham for a number of years. She was the beloved wife of the late William R. Higgins. Loving mother of James E. Higgins and wife Barbara of Plymouth, Carol L. Gouin and husband Maurice of South Attleboro, John W. Higgins and wife Susan of Camden, Maine, Thomas A. Higgins and wife Denise of Kingston, Paul R. Higgins and wife Diane of Fairhaven, and Richard F. Higgins and wife Terri of Rockland. Sister of the late Lois Morgan. Corinne is also lovingly survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Hufnagle, Gary J.  
Gary J. Hufnagle of Plymouth died on June 23, peacefully in his sleep. He was the beloved husband of Diane M. (Frazier) Hufnagle. Born in Weymouth, September 25, 1957, a son of the late Edward J. and C. Gloria (Frazier) Hufnagle. He was educated in Braintree schools and graduated from Braintree High School, Class of 1975, and the FAA Training Academy in Oklahoma and was a Certified Air Traffic Controller. Gary served with the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sargent from 1976 until 1982. Besides his wife Diane, he is survived by a daughter, Kerri A. Wojcik and her husband Michael of Coventry, Conn.; sons, Kurt A. Hufnagle and his wife Jessica of Southampton and Kyle F. Hufnagle of Plymouth; brother of Kevin Hufnagle of Marshfield and David Hufnagle of Weymouth; cherished grandfather of Addison and Paxton Hufnagle and Matthew and Tyler Wojcik. Funeral from the Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet), Tuesday, June 30, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, Manomet, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday, June 29, from 5-8 p.m. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
