Hallisey Jr., Joseph P.  
Joseph P. Hallisey Jr., age 75, passed peacefully in the company of his loving family on Sunday, August 28. Born and raised in Quincy, he had resided in Braintree for the past 50 years. Mr Hallisey graduated from Archbishop Williams High School and Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. The former president and owner of Nova Associates, Braintree, he served as an Air Force Captain and a veteran of the Vietnam War. The beloved husband of Jean M. (Maher), he was the devoted father of Lisa J. Hallisey of Norton, Diane J. Hallisey of Braintree and Michael J. Hallisey and his wife Ashley of Brockton and cherished grandfather of Nicole and Eric Schnabel and Joshua Hallisey. Funeral Mass at St. Clare Church, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree, Friday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Haffner, Constance  
Constance Connie (Richmond) Haffner died at home in Braintree on August 23, 2016 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Paul A. Richmond and Edna M. (Harrington) Richmond. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred G. Haffner, and loving mother of Karen Haffner of Rockland, Dale Morency and her husband Paul Morency of Epsom, NH, Bruce L. Haffner and his wife April Haffner of Randolph, and Lynn R. Feingold of Randolph; sister of Paul A. Richmond, Jr. of Braintree; grandmother to Carmen, Megan, Ethan, Lauren, Sarah and Hannah; great- grandmother to Sophia and little Vincent. She was born in Quincy on June 29, 1925 and grew up in Wollaston. She worked at the Quincy Shipyard before meeting her husband of 37 years at Pneumatic Scale Corp. After a few years in Quincy, they settled their growing family in Braintree, where Connie became a community leader in the Parent-Teachers Association and Southwest Civic Association. She was an active Girl Scout leader for her daughters troops in Braintree for more than 15 years. For over 30 years, she hosted a neighborhood cookie swap party, bringing friends and neighbors together at her home to share recipes and laughs. It was important to her that the cookie swap was also a food drive for the Braintree Food Pantry. In recent years, she hosted a monthly writers group at her home. All of her life, she spent as much time as possible in the summer at her cottage on Long Island, ME, where she enjoyed connecting with friends, family and nature. Memorial services will be private. Halloran, Patrick T.  
Patrick T. Halloran, of Quincy, died August 22, 2016. Patrick worked as a laborer for the Tunnel Workers, Local Union 88 for 25 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Boston Bruins. Patrick's main passion in life was his family and spending time at sporting events with his son and just simply being a dad. Devoted father of Justin Halloran of Quincy. Loving son of Karen Valentino and her partner Winston Mignott of Quincy and the late Francis Halloran. Cherished friend and former husband of Corrina Halloran of Quincy. Caring cousin of Katie, Lynn, Shanna, Fred, Adam, Tanya and Ella. Also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews and extended family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. Helfrich, Lillian Harvey  
Lillian (Shea) Harvey Helfrich passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at age 96. A lifelong Houghs Neck resident, she was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Harvey and the late Alfred G. Helfrich; loving mother of Albert Harvey and his wife Marsha of Braintree, Marie Hunsinger and her husband Robert of Weymouth, Alfred Helfrich Jr. and his wife Florence of Orleans, Maureen Elliott and her husband Bill of Freedom, NH, Kathleen Helfrich of Braintree and Ellen Helfrich of Quincy. Lillian is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, August 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy Center. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1017 Sea St., Quincy.
