Valerie J. (Fontaine) Acciavatti, of Milton, passed away peacefully at home, July 30, 2015. Loving wife of Thomas M.Acciavatti of Milton. Loving mother of Thomas E. Acciavatti and his wife Shannon of Weymouth, Andrea A. Acciavatti of Weymouth and the late Gregg T. Acciavatti. Cherished Nana of Jeffrey, Jamie and Maximus. Loving Daughter-in-law of Alberina Acciavatti of Weymouth. Dear sister of Eugene, Alan, Beverly, Virginia, Linda and Ronald. Valerie worked at Quincy City Hospital as a pediatric nurse. She continued as a pediatric nurse for many years with Dr. Hockman. After retiring from nursing, Valerie was the Vice President and Treasurer of the Parkway Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed needlepointing, scrap-booking, gaming and spending time with her family and friends.She was also very active and dedicated to www.angels.com , a support group that assists parents who have lost a son or a daughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Anderson, Dorothy H.  
Dorothy Helen (Sears) Anderson of North Quincy died peacefully July 25, 2015, at her daughters home in Rockland. She was 102. She was the wife of the late James L. Anderson. She was the mother of James L. Anderson and his wife Maureen of Weymouth, Judith M. Watson and her husband Bill of Rockland, and the late Dorothy H. Anderson. She is the sister of Patricia Neault and her husband Ron of Warrington, Va., and the late Mary Sirois of Quincy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and dear special friends, Clay and Barbara Roberts of Duxbury. Dorothy was born in North Quincy, May 25, 1913, to the late Mary (Holland) and Ted Sears. Dorothy attended daily Mass at Sacred Heart Church and then would watch daily Mass on Catholic TV. The most important things in her life were her faith and family. The family is so grateful for the friends and family who came to visit as her health declined. She lived her life with resilience, grace, and dignity. She was truly a lady before her time and a current thinker of modern day issues. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 4-7 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Monday prior to the funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, at 10 a.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA 02061 or to Boston Catholic TV, 34 Chestnut St., P.O.
