Leahy, Stephen  
Stephen Leahy passed away Jan. 24, 2015, after a long bout with cancer at the age of 61. Steve and his family were residents for 35 years of the Southport area of town. Steve was the son of the late Thomas M. and Margaret E. Leahy of Stoneham. He is survived by his six brothers, Michael, Barry, Brian, Darin and Terry of Massachusetts and Kevin of Maine. He also leaves his sister, Mary Ward of Vermont. He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 42 years, Linda J. (Santosuosso), formerly of Stoneham; and his three amazing children, Stephen and Cynthia Leahy of Marshfield, Marie and Justin Vogel of Hingham and Michelle and Patrick Motto of Attleboro. All three of his children volunteered to be live donors for any transplant. Along with his three children, he leaves the loves of his life, seven grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Grace, Gavin, Ryan, Sean, and Leah. Before his illness Steve could frequently be seen on the Keville trail behind CVS with his Newfoundland dogs. During his time in Marshfield, Steve was a CCD teacher with St. Ann's by the Sea parish. He was a coach of both Marshfield boys and girls youth basketball. He was an assistant scout master for troop 212 in Marshfield. Steve worked for the United States Customs Service for 14 years in Vermont, Boston and Washington, D.C. He was a graduate with honors from Lowell Technological Institute and Suffolk University School of Law night division and spent 25 years in private law practice. Steve wanted everyone to "never forget, at the end of days, you can leave them money, you can leave them jewelry, you can leave them land, but always leave them laughing." Machaby, Mary T.  
Mary T. (Walsh) Machaby, of Holbrook, died January 25, 2015. Daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (McDonough) Walsh of Ireland and the eldest of 8 children: Joseph G. Walsh of FL, Sister Barbara Joseph Walsh S.C. of Wellesley, Thomas A. Walsh of W. Roxbury, Stephen M. Walsh of Roslindale, the late Patrick Walsh, Michael F. Walsh and Ann M. Walsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Machaby is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gary A. Machaby and her 8 children Robert A. Machaby of FL, James M. Machaby of Plymouth, Karen M. Argrew of ME, Gary J. Machaby of Brockton, Bernadette M. Caswell of FL, Stephen J. Machaby of Rockland, Jeanette M. Fraser of Sandwich, Claire M. Merolli of Brockton and the late Francis Machaby. She leaves 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mary was born on Aug. 29, 1930 in Boston. Mrs. Machaby attended St. Margarets School, Dorchester and graduated from Girls High School, Boston Class of 1949. Mary worked for many years at Kings Drug Store in Holbrook and Bemis Drug in North Abington. She was Past President of St. Joseph parish womens group the Josepheens. She was always active in planning birthday parties, various family vacations, and outings, especially Christmas gatherings for her family, extended family and friends; these occasions will be fondly remembered. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook until 9:00 a.m., Friday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Murphy, Charles H.  
Charles H. Charlie Murphy, of Rockland, formerly of Milton, died after a brief illness on January 21, 2015. The beloved husband of 39 years to Jean M. (Feeley) Murphy. Devoted father of Kate A. Johnston and her husband Bruce of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Matthew R. Johnston of Weymouth. Charlie was a graduate of Wentworth Institute and attended Northeastern University. He worked for Verizon as an engineer for more than 30 years. His top priority in life was his family, he cherished them and the adored him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and cherished grandfather. Charlie will be sadly missed. Panarello, John R.  
John Robert Panarello of Weymouth, originally from Dorchester, died January 24, 2015, at the age of 77. John served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic and platoon barber. For 27 years, he worked as an airline mechanic for Northeast/Delta Airlines. After retirement, he worked as the facilities manager for BioMerieux in Rockland. John was an avid boater, hunter and aviation enthusiast. So much so, that along with his friend Paul Babcock, they completely rebuilt a J3 Piper Cub airplane. Most of all John cherished his time with family and friends. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to June E. (Flynn) Panarello; loving father of William J. Panarello and wife Jody of Saugus, Kathryn L. Krasner and husband Larry of Medfield and Brian F. Panarello of Foxboro; cherished "Grampy" of Jarad, Jeremy and Trevor Panarello; brother of the late Joseph Panarello, Guy Panarello and Domenica "May" Hamner. Also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his beloved parrot Oscar. Shinney, Mary E.  
Mary E. (Queeney) Shinney of Scituate passed surrounded by family January 24, 2015, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael T. Shinney. Born in Medford to Thomas F. and Helen (Shea) Queeney on December 12, 1934, Mary was raised in Milton. She earned her bachelor's degree from Regis College and her master's degree in Biology from Northeastern University. Mary was a teacher in the Plymouth School System for over 30 years. She also taught at Northeastern University and Bristol Community College. Mary was the devoted mother of Michael A. Sousa of Marshfield, Patrick F. Meegan and his wife Yuko of Arizona, Michael P. Meegan and his wife Rachel of Walpole, Robert G. Meegan and his wife Michelle of Florida, George P. Meegan of Holbrook, Robert G. Goodwin and his wife Jodi of Hingham, Gregory C. Shinney and his wife Amy of Scituate and the late Matthew P. Sousa; loving mother-in-law to Janice Meegan of Weymouth and Deborah Sousa of Marshfield; cherished sister of Helen Modica of Medfield and the late Thomas Queeney. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who adored her. Wenz, Edward J.  
Edward J. "Peanuts" Wenz, age 89, of Marshfield, passed peacefully on January 22, 2015, after a long and fulfilling life. Mr. Wenz is survived by his wife of 67 years, Florence (Sohmer) Wenz; his daughter, Susan and son-in-law, Richard Madden of Carver; and son, Douglas and daughter-in-law, Rita Wenz of N. Babylon, N.Y. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 4 beloved great-grandchildren. He was born March 25, 1925, in NYC, and grew up in Astoria, N.Y. Ed was a World War II Navy veteran, proudly serving on the USS Augusta. In his later years, he volunteered at the USS Salem and took great pride in his service which was apparent in his story telling. He held his veteran brothers close to his heart. A carpenter by trade after the war, he moved his family to Marshfield, and was employed by EF Hauserman where he was a foreman for the New England region. He was a skilled woodworker and spent many hours in his shop at his home in Marshfield. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed the ocean and traveling the world to enjoy the sport. He especially enjoyed his time fly fishing. He also enjoyed his yearly Navy reunions around the world and having his daily meeting with his friends at the coffee shop. His immense love for his great-grandchildren will be passed on to them in stories of their Papa. Interment will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at a later date.

Stephen A. White, 51, of Hanover, passed away Friday, January 9, after a long illness. Born November 20, 1963, in Boston, he was the son of the late William Horne and Amy (Spaulding) White. Cecelia E. Cece (Lowder) Glynn, age 83, entered into eternal life on January 23, 2015. Cece was born and raised in Jamaica Plain and has lived in Braintree for 52 years. Mrs. Glynn worked for Jordan Marsh Warehouse in Squantum. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Braintree, the V.F. W. Auxialary post 1399 in Weymouth and the Weymouth Eagles and the Teamsters Union. Beloved wife of the late Owen J. Glynn. Devoted mother of Kathleen Flax and husband Stuart of Plymouth, Laura Glynn of Braintree, John Glynn of Braintree, Diane Bottary of Braintree, Marianne Currie of Smithfield R.I., and Theresa Farina and her husband Mark of Braintree. Grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Holt, Katherine E.  
Katherine E. (OConnor) Holt, of Hingham, 87, died January 21, 2015 at home with her daughter by her side. Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Holt and daughter of the late Nora C. (Meade) and Daniel J. O'Connor. Loving mother of Nancy Holt of Hingham. Katherine was raised in Swampscott and lived in Boston before she was married and settled in Hingham in 1965. She was a graduate of Swampscott High School and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a private duty nurse at Mass General Hospital and a store nurse at Jordan Marsh in Boston until her marriage and a nurse at Queen Anne Nursing Home after the death of her husband before retiring. Katherine enjoyed spending time with her daughter Nancy who was the center of her life. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to have known her. Funeral Services were private.
