Nickerson, M. Allan  
M. Allan Nickerson, of Weymouth, 89, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, after a 10 year struggle with Parkinsons and Lewy Body Disease. He leaves his wife of 64 years, Barbara J. (Baird); a daughter, Debbie Yerdon, her husband Steve of Holden, and their children, Jennifer Bolton and her husband, Mark of Quincy, Lauren Dumais and her husband, Casey of Nashua N.H.; a son, Mark Nickerson and his wife, Barbara of Plymouth and their children, Benjamin and Jacob; his sisters, Sylvia Ribbe and her husband, John of Hudson, Fla., Marilyn Briscoe of Duxbury; a sister-in-law, Diana Ferrazza of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Allan lived in South Weymouth most of his life and moved into a home his son built in Pocasset when he retired in 1989 and enjoyed 20 years of Cape Cod life. He moved to Holden in 2010 to live near his daughter. He graduated from Weymouth High School in 1943 and Boston University in 1949 with a degree in Journalism. He also studied accounting at Bentley College and graduated second in his class in 1964. He worked at Stone and Webster in Boston for 10 years, Chas T. Main in Boston as a corporate budget manager for 25 years and for Development Concepts in Weymouth for 5 years. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1944 to 1946 and trained as a navigation engineer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weymouth until 1989 and served as a Deacon, Trustee, adult Sunday School teacher, Chairperson of two building committees and volunteered his time and gifts in many other areas. He joined the Osterville Baptist Church in Osterville and continued to serve in similar roles. He enjoyed golfing with family and friends and sailing his small boat along the south coast. He was a walking encyclopedia and his grandchildren used him for homework help whenever they were stumped. He was a voracious reader and also had a wonderful sense of humor. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 17 Mutton Lane, Weymouth, Mass. Burial will be private. Nihill, Robert J.  
Robert J. Nihill, 50, of Bridgewater, and formerly of Rockland, passed away on September 2, 2015. He was the dear brother of Nancy R. Munson and her husband Richard of South Dartmouth, Elaine M. Howard and her husband Joseph of Rochester, David R. Nihill and his wife Margaret of Needham, Deborah Baum-garten and her husband Sam of Bridgewater, and Alan J. Nihill and his wife Janet of Pembroke. Rob is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Stoughton, January 2, 1965, he was the loving son of Helen C. (Pike) Nihill of Rockland and the late Robert W. Nihill. Rob enjoyed family gatherings, music, swimming, and all parties and special occasions. He had a close and special relationship with his mother and looked forward to their weekends together. He was much loved by his family and was happiest when with them. He liked his routines and enjoyed being independent. Rob touched the lives of all who met him. The family wishes to thank the staff of GROW and BAMSI for their care and support. O'Brien, Richard J.  
Richard J. O'Brien, 87, of Green Harbor, formerly of Watertown and Arlington, died peacefully August 22, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1945, and served his country in Italy during World War II. Dick and his late beloved wife Irene (McDonald) OBrien raised their six children near Spy Pond in Arlington. He was a longtime employee of New England Telephone. Dick and Irene retired to Green Harbor, where they had summered as children and met on Duxbury Beach. Dick is survived by his sister, Mary Johnson of Watertown; his children, Kathleen O'Brien of Green Harbor; Paul O'Brien of Hamden, Conn., his wife Marita and children Shannon and Colin; Philip O'Brien of Stoughton, his wife Melanie and daughter Erin; Maureen Martling of Grass Valley, Calif., her husband Randy and children Taylor, Kayla, Laura and Ronnie; Jane Fichera of Jackson, N.H., her husband John and their children Matthew, Douglas, and Allison. Dick's son Richard O'Brien passed away in 2000, leaving his wife Kate and children Madeleine, Eve, and Christopher. He was great-grandfather of Mya, Chad and Henrik. Dick was predeceased by a sister, Alice Reardon. His large extended family will remember Dick very fondly. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. O'Bryan, Eleanor  
Eleanor (McKenzie) O'Bryan, 83, of Rockland, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2015. She was born in Weymouth, daughter of the late Carlton and Hazel McKenzie and was raised and educated there. Eleanor was the sister of Carlton McKenzie of North Reading. She was a member of the Weymouth High School Class of 1949. Mrs. O'Bryan was retired from Goodhue and O'Brien Insurance Agency in Quincy, Mass. Beloved wife of 64 years to Robert L. O'Bryan. She was the devoted mother of Karen L. and Kemble Morrison of N.H., Robert C. and Judy O'Bryan of Abington, Richard A. and Cheryl O'Bryan of Rockland, and Dianne E. and Steve Botelho of Rockland. Loving grandmother of Kate, Julie, Cindy, Heather, Jill, Hollie, Leah, Bobby, Courtney, and Zachary. She was the loving great-grandmother of Noah and Molly. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family was the essence of all that was important to her. The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland from 5 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Seana J. O'Driscoll of Rockland, died August 28, 2015, at age 50. Patrisha Ann Hope (Hauthaway) Pierce, age 73, died on August 26, 2015, in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston, following a long illness. She was the beloved daughter of the late Eleanor (Welch) Lavoie, Weldon Lavoie and Clarence Hauthaway Jr. Born in Providence, R.I., December 6, 1941, she was educated in Plymouth and was a 1959 graduate of Plymouth High School. Patrisha had volunteered at South Shore Womens Center, Jordan Hospital and the Samaritans in Duxbury. She enjoyed nature, flowers, working on arts and crafts and spending time with children. She was the loving mother of Daniel Pierce of Plymouth and Terry Ann Pierce of East Bridgewater. She was the beloved sister of John Lavoie and Sharon Hauthaway both of Plymouth. She was cherished grandmother of Daniel, Jonathan, Elizabeth, William, Kerstin, Brittaney and Lyndsay; and great-grandmother of Michael, Emmett and Randy. She was loving aunt of Jade and Douglas. Price, Grace L.  
Grace Lillian Haderski Price, 69, an accomplished artist of South Weymouth, passed away August 25, 2015. Grace is survived by her son, David Price; her sisters, Ruth Haderski, Susan Altmannsberger, Margaret Haderski, and Sherrill Murphy; her nieces, Katie Chaiban, Cory Daniels, Samantha and Grace Leipzig, Eliana DeAndrade; great- nieces, Hannah Joslin and Zoe Law; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Pricilla Price; aunt, Laura Ricci; loving family; and special friends, Joannie, Karen, and Jeanie. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, David Price, her parents, Stephen Haderski and Grace Lillian Haderski, and her brother, Stephen J. Haderski. Grace, a lovely Christian lady, is now with them in Heaven. Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday, September 12, from 1 to 3, with a service at 3 p.m. at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. The family will hold a private burial at Winslow Cemetery.
