Adam P. Holmes

Adam P. Holmes, age 53, died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at his home. He is the son of Sally (McLeod) Holmes of Foxborough and the late Ronald N. Holmes. Adam was born in Boston on November 16, 1960 and was a life-long resident of Quincy. He has been a Foxborough resident for the past year. Adam was formerly employed at Republic Plumbing of Quincy. Adam was a former member of the V.F.W., George F. Bryant Post in Quincy. He enjoyed playing darts and participated in a dart league in Quincy. He was an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed fishing and loved animals. Loving father of David Church. Beloved brother of Ginger Carvell and her husband Ken of Coventry, Conn., Douglas J. Holmes Sr. and his wife Cynthia of Foxborough, Natalie Peterson and her husband Ronald of N.H., and Andrew P. Holmes of Weymouth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough.
