Claudia J. Young

Claudia J. (Fallows) Young, age 76, formerly of Squantum, died peacefully, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Marina Bay Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Quincy. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of North Quincy High School and Franklin Pierce Business School. She has lived in Braintree for eight years, previously sixty-nine years in Squantum. Claudia was a customer service representative for the Dudley-Borland-Ellis and Andrews Insurance Company in Cambridge. She has been retired several years after twenty-eight years of service. She enjoyed knitting and doll collecting. Claudia was devoted to her family and especially to her three grandchildren. Beloved wife for forty-seven years of Lester W. Young, Jr. Devoted mother of David S. Young and his wife Susan of Milton, Amanda J. Zambuto and her husband Chris of Milton. Loving grandmother of Sean, Shannon and Christopher. Dear sister of the late George D. Fallow, Jr. and his wife Lois of Richmond, VA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, Feb. 23nd at 12 noon. Rev. Mike Robertson, Pastor of the First Church of Squantum will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting prior to the service from 11 a.m | 12 noon.
