Donna L. (Cedrone) McGilloway, age 70, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Thursday, October 3, 2013, at South Shore Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston and was raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1961. She had lived in Braintree for eight years, previously most of her life in Quincy. Donna was employed as a bookkeeper in the mutual funds department for State Street Bank in Quincy for ten years. After retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Common Market Restaurant in West Quincy for many years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was devoted to her family and friends and especially to her two granddaughters. Beloved wife of Hugh P. McGilloway, she was the devoted mother of Meghan M. McEvoy and her husband Sean of Abington; loving grandmother of Molly and Madison; cherished daughter of the late Aldo Finn and Edith M. (Harrington) Cedrone; dear sister of the late Marion C. Cedrone; and also survived by many cousins, friends and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Tuesday, October 8, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, at 10 Oclock.
