Elizabeth A. Cosentino

Elizabeth A. (Fandel) Cosentino, age 79, entered into eternal life on Oct. 13, 2012. Betty was born and raised in Roxbury, graduated from St. Patricks High School and lived in Quincy before moving to Braintree in 1964. Mrs. Cosentino was a bookkeeper for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Boston for many years and then from J.L. Hammett Company in Braintree from where she retired. Betty was a member of the Ladies Sodality of Sacred Heart Church, AARP chapter of 4042, Braintree Council of Aging, and the Lunch Bunch. She volunteered at the Flaherty School, enjoyed traveling on cruises and was a daily communicant and parishioner at the Sacred Heart Church. Beloved wife of the late Charles Sonny Cosentino. Beloved sister of Paul E. Fandel of Braintree. Loving aunt of Robin Noonan of Braintree, Mary Slathe of Holbrook, Roger A. Deveney of Florida, John X. Deveney of Seattle, Michael Deveney of Rochester, N.Y., and Ann Debejian of Syracuse, N.Y. and the late Charles F. Deveney. Sister-in-law of Mary E.Betty Deveney of Pittsford, N.Y. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth Landing on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Burial in Braintree Cemetery.
